About The Artist
My name is Heather I reside in the western part of Pennsylvania(US) and I have been into visual art ever since childhood especially drawing and illustration. I never imagined not doing anything without art in my life even if it may be a hobby more than anything. I am a self-taught artist though I did go to art school as well. I started drawing commissioned pet portraits in late 2013 after having drawn a friend's dog who passed away as a gift. From then on I decided to make a habit out of it. I never thought I would be doing this but I love it!
Besides art; I am a big animal lover and I currently own two dogs; a purebred Lab named Hanna(RIP) and a working-line German Shepherd named Sam and one DSH cat named Beef Supreme aka Beefy(RIP). Animals have been a part of my life as long as I can remember and plan to own them for the rest of my life. I have even volunteered and worked with animals over the years, including horse riding at one point. I hope to do things with animals again in the coming future. I also thoroughly enjoy graphic design and photography.
